The Children’s Ministry mission and purpose is to train up a child in the ways that reflect Christ like character (Ephesians 5:1), teach and educate children of the promises of God (Deuteronomy 4:9), encourage children to grow closer in their relationship with God (Mark 10:14), equip children to walk boldly into their calling in Christ (Acts 2:39), impress the love of God upon a child (Deuteronomy 6:4-7), equip a child with the knowledge to overcome issues they may encounter in their seasons (2 Timothy 3:16-17), provide lessons and teachings directed by God (Isaiah 54:13, Matthew 11:25), teach and show children how to bring God praise (Psalm 8:2), train a child to become accountable to God (Proverbs 20:11), while providing quality care and safety to the children entrusted in our care (Genesis 43:9). Our leadership team teaches children to apply the truths they learn on Sunday’s to everyday situations. As we nurture the spiritual development of the children, we trust that we are equipping them to reach out and evangelize their communities to make disciples of other children.
Our leadership team helps the kids have fun, learn new skills, build relationships, study the Bible and ultimately, learn to live for Jesus Christ in every aspect of life. The purpose of Children’s Ministry is to serve THE WORSHIP CENTER by providing instructional teaching, group discussion and support to the children of the Body of Christ. The goal of this ministry is to equip children to grow in their knowledge of who they are in Christ Jesus. Christian education is a very important area in the development of the young life of a believer. Every Christian child is a disciple, i.e., someone that is teachable and willing to learn more in the area of following Jesus Christ. The objective of THE WORSHIP CENTER Children’s Ministry is to bear much fruit in the lives of children through biblical truth and practical application that will exemplify them as more than conquerors through Christ.
