As parents, grandparents and caregivers we want to become Digital Savvy confidently able to navigate through a daily changing digital world.
Have you ever wondered how the digital world is affecting and even changing the brains of our kids at every age? Do you know how predators are now luring your little ones as well as teens? Do you know how the digital world is impacting our children in the areas of depression and suicide? Did you know that there are new apps created daily targeting your kids? At this workshop we will cover this and much more. You don’t want to miss this informative and interactive workshop, “Protect Young Eyes”.
You will be enlightened and equipped in how to guide your family by safely navigating through the digital world we live in. This workshop will give you excellent resources from the most up to date inside information on how to navigate the ever changing digital world around us including rating and explaining apps, recommending effective parental control apps and resources, as well as offering a weekly blog with a wealth of information with the latest updates, and some information is very alarming.
At this workshop we will present The Digital Culture of Kids. There will also be special Q & A session regarding parenting strategies.
Protect Young Eyes Workshop Speaker: Coleen Jurado.
Coleen has been married for 34 years. She is a veteran home school mother of 24 years. Coleen and her husband are the parents of seven children, ages 12 to 34 years old. Coleen is the grandmother of two amazing grandchildren.
Coleen’s passion is the family. She partners with parents and families to create healthy families. Coleen serves as the Family Pastor, at The Mission Church, Vacaville, California. She is a Parenting & Relational Coach, Pastoral Care, Sozo Team Leader, Sozo Trainer, Prophetic Coach & Dream Interpreter. She is used mightily by God to position people to see God’s desires fulfilled in them and their families.
