Christine Lopez

Christine remembers the day like it was yesterday when God called her to work with youth. It was at a Youth Convention when she was 13 years old-an encounter she will never forget. At the time, she thought that she would have to wait until she was much older to step into this calling, but God gave her many opportunities to minister to young people from that moment on. Christine is grateful for the example of her parents, youth pastors, and mentors that helped guide, encourage, and strengthen her walk with the Lord.

In 2000, she earned her B.A. degree in Psychology at Bethany Bible College and went on to teach at the upper elementary, middle school, and high school level for the next 15 years. During the last five years, of her teaching career and ministry, she had the opportunity to help start a Christian school where she served as one of the founders, administrators, and teachers.

In 2015, God called her to take a leap of faith and step out to pursue her calling to minister, equip, train, and mentor others for Christ.  Christine now serves as The Youth Leader at the Worship Center.  She believes God’s heart is to see young people step out of “hiding” and boldly chase after Him. It’s there that they will discover their identity and authentically walk out their purpose and destiny. Her passion is to see the Youth of this generation discover who they are in Christ so that they will share who He is to others.  As one of the Core leaders at The Worship Center, Christine is also  part of the Counseling Department and an instructor at The Worship Center University (TWCU).
